Passion fruit, pineapple and ginger are about as tropical as flavors can get. Here in Hawaii we grow all three of these mouthwatering fruits in our backyard. Luckily, if you live where these fruits don't grow (or you just don't have the patience to wait), you can run to your grocery store to pick them up or order the juices directly online.

Our pure Passion Fruit Puree with the addition of pineapple juice and ginger make this recipe more refreshing than any lemonade I've ever tried. This perfect summer drink will not only quench your thirst but transport you to the tropical beach you wish you were on while drinking it. To make this thirst quencher, you have to complete just a few easy steps: make a ginger simple syrup and add it to your juices, stirring to combine. The ginger adds a refreshing sweetness to the tart juices. Like many of my drink recipes, this can be made ahead for parties and get-togethers where everyone will think they are drinking something straight from the islands.

    Notes

Note: We serve this as is to the kids, add a bit more seltzer water for those that don’t drink alcoholic beverages and keep the bar open for those that would like to add vodka, rum, tequila or champagne.
